Rose's Bar — Restaurant in Brescia

As a foreign worker in this country, I stopped by this café bar around 1 PM to have a cappuccino. When I asked how much it was, the woman behind the counter smiled and said, “No money, it’s free for you. You can pay next time. You are working and I’m working too.” I tried to pay, but she kindly refused. It was such a simple yet powerful gesture of kindness that truly touched me. Moments like this remind me of the good in people. I’ll definitely come back—not just for the coffee, but for the warmth and humanity. Highly recommended!

Come lavoratore straniero in questo paese, sono passato in questo bar caffetteria verso le 13:00 per prendere un cappuccino. Quando ho chiesto quanto costasse, la donna al bancone mi ha sorriso e ha detto: “Non serve, è gratis per te. Puoi pagare la prossima volta. Tu stai lavorando e anche io sto lavorando.” Ho provato a pagare, ma lei ha gentilmente rifiutato. È stato un gesto semplice ma pieno di umanità che mi ha davvero colpito. Momenti così ti fanno ricordare che esiste ancora la gentilezza. Tornerò sicuramente, non solo per il caffè, ma per il calore umano....
