This is 'hand down' the best buschenschank, I think ever. First of all the hosts are incredible sweet, funny and enthusiastic. We only went their for a few drinks.
We started outside but before we finished our first drink, they invited us to come in to the warm cellar (it was cold outside, and there was a great atmosphere going inside), so we moved.
We had the best vernatch we found in Alto Adige, also the home applejuice was phenomenal/best ever. They are also extremely dog friendly, and give the dogs who are coming in so much love and attention, plus they remember the dogs name (big green flag for me!!)

Surprisingly, the strudel is made by the senior 👏👏👏
We could have stayed much longer but needed to catch the bus.
Thanks for the hospitality - I hope to be...

This was a singularly spectacular meal, and will be memorable for years to come. I had no idea that Kaiserschmarrn could be so incredibly delicious or that knodel could be some moist and tender.
The view is fabulous, the setting is fabulous, the staff are friendly.
And fantastic value for money. We had 1/4 liter of fresh red wine, Kaiserschmarrn, knodel, kraut, and bauernwurst for 26 Euro! We didn't eat until lunchtime the next day!
If in the area, you...
