Not often do I write about restaurants, especially negative comments are not my thing. But I have to make an exception here. We ordered the fantasy of the chef and this dish is the second worst food I ever ate. The meal was cold, old and I’m convinced it was a set of leftovers from the day(before?) Cold-old-Sausage rolls, tasteless-cheese, some old salad, olives in far too much oil with meatpieces where the fat was dominating, white bread with what I believe was tuna salad, roasted (far overdone) toast with too salty salads on it. An eggpie which had some decent taste (but was cold) and a strange totally dominating (again too salt) salad.

I wish i was overreacting, but im not. On top of this all, the red wine was far over room temperature and felt like it was left in the sun. The filtration-system was the dominating sound and there was no music to make us feel cosy. The place was empty at 21-22 (fairly standard eating times) and for a good reason if this is known in the neighborhood.

You have good parking space, by what i have seen a good quality kitchen and plenty of room on your terrace.

2 people paid 21 euro, so the price is a joke, equally is the quality. If you want to eat don’t go here. But more importantly to the chef and the team. Please do not consider this feedback as negative or ‘destructive’ see it is a very important sign that your cooking must meet modern standards. Increase the quality of your ingredients, use less salt, increase your pice (double it if needs be) and fix this mess. Your restaurant will simply not survive if you serve this. Ristorante sito nell'accogliente paesino di Buti, provincia di Pisa, alle pendici del Monte Serra. Ambiente carino tavoli sistemati tra il verde degli olivi, fresco e relax assicurato. Antipasto con prodotti buoni, un classico tagliere assortito ma niente di speciale, l'indispensabile per partire. Non ho preso primi piatti ma da menù c'è la possibilità di 5/6 scelte piuttosto particolari, da provare per valutare. Come secondo scelta la grigliata mista, piatto davvero bello da vedere, buono da mangiare con verdure anch'esse grigliate in abbinamento ben cotte. Quantità giusta. Come Vino un San Giovese normalissimo. Dolce solo tre su otto, buono a detta degli altri ma nulla di speciale. Apparentemente tutto potrebbe sembrare nella norma, ma la nota dolente arriva alla cassa. Il conto troppo alto per quello che abbiamo mangiato, attribuito un costo troppo alto a diversi prodotti del menù.... sinceramente ALMENO dieci euro di troppo. Per il servizio poco personale (comunque gentile) per la gente presente. Ieri con un gruppo di amici abbiamo pranzato al ristorante 1 maggio di Buti. Peccato, lontani i bei ricordi. Avevamo chiesto in larga parte porcini fritti oltre ad un primo o un secondo. Servizio non lento, lentissimo. Tempi di attesa da 50' ad oltre 1 ora. La cucina non è all altezza di gestire le portate. Chi aveva finito di mangiare e invece alcuni non erano riusciti ad avere neppure una portata. La ragazzina che portava i piatti, carina, gentile, ma non è un cameriere professionale. Comunque cibo medio, funghi non rispondenti a quanto richiesto. Solitamente si portano i porcini al tavolo e poi si procede. Niente di tutto ciò. Avevamo espressamente richiesto quel tipo di fungo.
