Came here for lunch with my girlfriend. Beautiful location in front of the sea. I ordered the « fregola dish with Vongole and Bottarga ». I asked the waitress if I could have this dish without bottarga. She said yes. When the dish arrived, it was covered with bottarga.. the waitress apologized and asked if I wanted another one. I worked in restaurants and I don’t like to waste food, so I said that it was ok and I was going to eat it like that. Suddenly, after eating half of my dish without really enjoying it, I noticed a black hair in the bottom of my plate.. I called the waitress to tell her. She apologized and she asked again if I wanted something else. Obviously after seeing this, I didn’t want to eat anything anymore from them. She brought the dish back to the kitchen, came back to the table, and explained to us that « it can happen ». Two mistakes on the same dish. Bravo. We didn’t order dessert or coffee. When the bill came, I was extremely surprised to see that they didn’t do any type of gesture on the price of the dish they messed up. I didn’t want to argue, I just paid and left. I worked in restaurants for many years. I understand that mistakes can happen. But a good restaurant should admit it when they make a mistake and shouldn’t make you pay for the dish. My girlfriends fish was ok. Nice view Food is average (you pay the view) Hygiene = 0 Customer service = 0

Read moreMe and my partner went here for the last meal of our holiday. The sunset view was beautiful and our drinks were brought out promptly. We looked through the menu and ordered a selection of food. This is where things went downhill rapidly.
Whilst the food came out quickly (maybe a bit too quickly...) it was simply disgusting. I had the "seafood risotto" and, on reflection, can imagine it would not have been out of place in an 19th century workhouse. My partner had a sausage pasta dish that was marginally better. We both agreed it could have been easily rustled up in a year 7 food tech class though.
We felt sorry for the staff as they seemed overwhelmed by the restaurant's capacity and were visibly stressed. This didn't seem to be a lack of experience on their part, rather poor staffing levels and management from above.

Read moreNot only that I asked for calamari fritti and got totani, and when we confronted the waiter she said that they had white calamari in here which it's a classic prenderti per il culo - they were definitely totani... but also after finishing my plate a little insect (probably cockroach) came out from under the paper of my food. I am disgusted and very disappointed, and it seems it's normal in all of these places around this area.
