Piacere e Gusto — Restaurant in Caltanissetta

We were excited to enjoy a nice meal here on our honeymoon on our way from Agrigento to Catania. We waited twenty minutes at the locked entry twenty minutes after the opening time. After inquiring at the open bar/cafe entrance and being redirected to the restaurant entrance, however, we were refused service and turned away without explanation by the waiter. He didn't ask for a reservation or tell us they were closed (we heard and saw the staff inside), he just told us we couldn't come in. We left hungry having wasted over an hour driving to the location...

Tralasciando il fatto che la frittura fosse eccessivamente unta (e palesemente non fresca), le pizze si sono rivelate nella media. La sorpresa più spiacevole è arrivata solo al momento della torta, quando ci è stato comunicato che avremmo dovuto pagare un cosiddetto “servizio torta” di 1 € a persona (un extra mai sentito in un ristorante medio a Caltanissetta). Tale supplemento non era stato minimamente annunciato nemmeno quando, nel pomeriggio, avevo consegnato la torta per conservarla in freezer. Avevo specificato chiaramente che fosse una torta gelato, ma è stata comunque messa in frigorifero, con il risultato di trovarla sciolta al momento di servirla. Considerato il sovrapprezzo, ci saremmo almeno aspettati che il personale provvedesse a tagliare e servire la torta (cosa che gli altri ristoranti fanno GRATUITAMENTE, nonostante non sia dovuto). Invece, dopo diversi solleciti ignorati, abbiamo rinunciato e l’abbiamo tagliata da soli, utilizzando piatti ammaccati.
