My partner and I had a fantastic meal here. The hostess (who we think was the owner) was extremely welcoming and patiently went through each item in the menu with us in English. The food was homemade, with great ingredients and recipes. It tasted very good. The area is very atmospheric and buzzy, and changed my view on Caltanissetta, which I worried might be a rough town as we drove in. A brief walk afterwards past the old market leads to a street of bars, where you can have a nightcap! Thoroughly recommend - forget Sale e Pepe where everyone...

Scelgo questo ristorante per caso. Ordiniamo senza alcuna idea sulla notorietà o meno del ristorante. Ambiente molto curato e di buon gusto. Signora che gestisce la sala molto gentile e attenta. Purtroppo, dopo buon antipasto, all'arrivo dei primi (3 primi piatti diversi per ciascuno tra cui un riso) , come disse mia figlia "stavamo andando bene". Ahimè tutti e tre con la pasta quasi cruda e appiccicosa. Ritornano in cucina nonostante la signora provi a convincerci che tutto è ok, questione di gusti. Ma non è così. nonostante gli sforzi in cucina, tutti e tre i piatti di ritorno restano con una brutta cottura e collosi.Tutto fa pensare che la pasta fosse precotta o cotta con poca acqua. Anche le melanzane della norma hanno un gusto poco convincente. Sorbetto finale offerto, molto buono. Per l' esito del nostro pranzo, il conto è troppo alto. La caponata molto buona ma i piatti non sono stati cucinati affatto...
