Albergo Trattoria Speranza — Restaurant in Caprino Veronese

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had! We ordered the cheese board, and to be honest, my blind grandma would make better looking one than this one! Also the cheese was old and it was only one type of cheese, no selection. And the bread was rock hard I could kill someone with this bread. Now to the lasagna, there was almost no meat and plating was terrible. When we went pay, they charged us with €5 extra for the service like for what service there was almost none. I’m sorry but I don’t want anybody to lose their money on this restaurant. If any chef put this in front of me in my hometown I would go to the kitchen and tell him if he is kidding me, because it was that horrible experience. I would not wonder if the lasagne were from nearby Lidl.

Very expensive but good home cooking. It is pricey for the amount of food we received, and the presentation is 1/10, but the food is really good, especially dessert, which was amazing. The ambience is plain and not exactly inviting but the location is perfect for a hot meal after a hike.

One of the staffs was really rude and raciest. I told them that I only wanna order a drink. He said u have to take a table even u only order a drink. On the way to take a table he was asking me do u understand English. Excuse me?!
