Al Porticciolo 5 — Restaurant in Casale sul Sile

In seguito alla lettura di alcune recensioni ho deciso di provare questo locale per pranzo. Essendo da solo non ho ritenuto necessario prenotare, il locale e, una volta arrivato, sono stato accolto e fatto accomodare. C’era parecchio posto essendo un mercoledì ad orario di pranzo. Ho voluto iniziare con un primo, saltando gli antipasti, così ho ordinato degli gnocchi al caffè con mandorle e burro alla nocciola: una vera rivelazione! Un piatto che può sembrare strano e sicuramente originale, ma che si è rivelato una vera gioia per il palato. Di secondo ho optato per una frittura di pesce con fiori di zucca; solitamente le fritture appesantiscono molto ma questa devo ammettere che era speciale. Fritta perfettamente e, anche durante la giornata, non è risultata pesante, anzi. Ho concluso con un dolce: una cheescake ai frutti di bosco, molto estiva, e devo dire veramente squisita. Poi un caffè prima del conto che, a mio parere, è stato più che onesto considerando ciò che ho mangiato, la qualità delle materie prime e la location, affacciato al fiume Sile. The setting and service was good and very friendly but the food (which was maybe a tick too creative) was a dissapointment.

We ordered the Tonno Oliccottur as appetizer and Gnocci caffo and tagliolini Gorgozola for Main course. The gnoccis were overdone and thus too soft and imho did not harmonize with the Coffee. The tagliolini Gorgonzola was ok but for 15€...

The location was really nice. The food was very expensive though for the amount you received. We were a group of 13 people (we were the only ones there). The food took a long time to come to us and some people had to wait extremely long for their food. The personnel were very kind and friendly.
