Il Mosaico — Restaurant in Casamicciola Terme

We enjoyed a very creative and surprising dinner at Il Mosaico. We were there on a Monday evening and only one other couple was there. Hence the staff gave us their dull attention which resulted in an outstanding service - bravo! We had both, the seafood and the land menu and were very pleasantly surprised by the creative and courageous food. Interesting combination that were all prepared with a meticulous effort and a lot of passion. Some combinations were just a little too special for us E.g. tomato sorbet :-) We will definitely recommend the restaurant, for anybody looking for an entertaining evening with inmovative food. Only point to be aware: gentleman need to wear long trousers, even if the restaurant is...

Aggiungo la prima recensione dopo il cambio gestione e l'ingresso del nuovo chef Enzo David. Siamo stati al Mosaico a metà Luglio ed abbiamo cenato allo chef's table. Se si è appassionati di cucina, l'esperienza è veramente super! Se si è appassionati di cibo... anche!

Abbiamo preso il menu Onore ad Ischia, ed è stato perfetto. Su tutti, la "zingara di mare", uno dei piatti migliori mai mangiati in vita mia. Bello anche il tour finale in cucina e pasticceria.

Abbiamo partecipato all'evento di ferragosto, che prevedeva un aperitivo con antipasti misti e un menù di 6 portate. Welcome drink molto vario di raffinate sfiziosità con tipicità campane. Cena nel complesso molto buona, spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino con carpaccio di gamberi rossi erano strepitosi, peccato per la ricciola non cotta a puntino (nel centro un po' cruda). Alla pasticceria un 5 pieno, i dolci erano tutti la fine del mondo. Servizio un po' lento e non perfettamente...
