Lovely location and close to the small but beautiful town of Lari where the small but very successfully pasta company Marselli is located which is a fun little turist thing to see when staying here. We got the "Frugola" apartment which has a great little private terrace and a wonderful view to the Castle in Lari from the bedroom. We traveled as a couple and were looking for a place with a restaurant that had local production plus local cooking class to get a true Tuscany food experience. Fabio and his family is running a busy but well organised Agro Turismo that gives a great feeling of the Tuscany food culture. Their restaurant has daily visitors that seems to be revisiting guests and we undestand why, as the food is great and the prices are affordable. If you're in to wine, Fabio will be most pleased to introduce you to local wines ; )||We took the cooking class where Serena guided us through making pasta gnocchi, traditional Tuscany sauce, pesto and biscotti which we enjoyed after the class. Her Mother was validating our work to ensure minimum compromise of quality which was great for us as we wanted to have the true Tuscany Mama cooking experience and the results were wonderful! ||If you travel as a couple and you search for quiet relaxing moments, bare in mind this agri turismo has a pool which children of course loves to play in and it create a...

The entree was Bistecca Fiorentina, expertly cooked, juicy and exceptionally delicious. We enjoyed a side a fried puff potatoes. Finally grappa and coffee. I could not have found this place and am grateful my Italian friend has introduced me to a new place in the...
