Best food in Cinque Terre for 6 Hungry Americans on holiday - After a lovely breakfast here in the early morning, we spent the day on the beach soaking up the Mediterranean sun, and after a quick siesta, came back to check on dinner for six. We were seated right away (on the early side, around 7pm).
Service was friendly and patient with our noticeably novice Italian (which was no problem with a bilingual menu, to our bilingual server and they kindly helped us with the Italian menu pronunciations.)
Food - would give 10 stars if possible. Absolutely everything was cooked to optimal time & temperature. We had caprese, prosciutto & melon (OMG!), and fresh pastas to start - the squid pasta, ragu, and tagliatelle were all perfection. The food we had was incredible but it was a very pricey meal which we could not have attempted to lessen. The let down being that we were never given a menu to review. We fortunately went here with our Italian friends who translated the spoken menu choices as best they could but with such a fast pace it was difficult.
The toilets were not particularly pleasant either but I only had to use it once so didn't dampen my experience too much.
