I hope this review can HELP ANY TOURIST OR PEOPLE THAT GO VISIT. I want to start saying that 2€ per person for a cover charge is a bit to expensive. I could expect that in a place where I don’t get disposable napkins on a plastic table and I get a good, friendly and efficient service. After we got a table we got served because luckily I’ve catch the eye of the waiter, (the place wasn’t busy at all). After he took the order another couple seated next to us, luckily we got the drinks AFTER them cause again I had to catch the eye of the waiter, so he brought us the drinks, first he brought the beer then in another trip he brought me the water... so silly, ( I realised after a bit that the other couple were friends of the waiter and the lady that took us the payment at the end because while this couple were eating this two were sitting at their table with them, even more silly). I ordered an ortolana without mozzarella cause I’m allergic and obviously I got the pizza with the mozzarella so I even had to wait. Now I may sound fussy but you can’t charge me 2€ per person for cover charge after this kind of service and with a disposable cover table. I give one star for the pizza cause was ok nothing special and also cause I can’t give less than that. I hope you can find better service around and not only speculation on people that are not from the...

Just finished dinner in this family-runned restaurant and I highly recommend it.

I ordered the grilled swordfish and was very satisfied. The cooking was spot on: the fish was tender and juicy, with those nice grill marks that really enhanced the flavor. The light seasoning with parsley and olive oil added freshness and balance.

Service was friendly and the waiting time was just right. The plating was simple but neat, highlighting the quality of the main ingredient.

The only point for improvement would be the side salad, which could have been a bit more varied or colorful (or veggies?) to better complement the dish.

Overall, a positive experience that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys fresh,...

Schon seit Jahren fahren wir regelmĂ€ĂŸig fĂŒr ein bis zwei Wochen im Jahr nach Santa Maria di Castellabate. Eine wunderschöne Urlaubsregion, mit allem, was man sich so wĂŒnscht an weitlĂ€ufigen BadestrĂ€nden, antiken AusgrabungsstĂ€tten, malerischen Orten, wildromantischem bergigem Hinterland - und typisch kampanischer Gastronomie. Unser Lieblingslokal ist ĂŒber die Jahre "Ci vediamo da Mario" am Lungomare, der Strandpromenade, geworden. Das Ambiente ist stimmungsvoll-gemĂŒtlich, unser bevorzugter Platz sind die Tische unter der Markise am Eingang, wo wir die atemberaubenden SonnenuntergĂ€nge bewundern können. Als gute Seele des Restaurants wirkt die deutschstĂ€mmige Senior-Chefin, die GĂ€ste herzlich begrĂŒĂŸt und ihnen das GefĂŒhl vermittelt, bei guten Freunden zu Gast zu sein. Ein Schwerpunkt der Speisekarten sind zwar die vorzĂŒglichen knusprig-saftigen Pizzen, aber am liebsten essen wir Fisch und MeeresfrĂŒchte, die von den MĂ€nnern der Gastronomen-Familie selbst gefangen werden, allen voran Senior-Chef Mario und Junior-Chef Alfonso. Alles superfrisch und noch Stunden zuvor im Wasser, bevor es serviert wird. Unsere Favoriten sind als Vorspeisen das feine Tatar von geangelten Zahnbrassen oder der MeeresfrĂŒchte-Teller "Fantasia di mare" mit frittierten Calamari vom Cap Licosa, Polposalat und Sardellen gefolgt von Risotto mit Miesmuscheln aus dem Golf von Salerno und schließlich der frische Tagesfang vom Grill.
