From the very first message, we knew Il Giardino Made ‘N Sicilia was special – and not just because it’s in beautiful Sicily. What truly makes this place exceptional are the people behind it. Giuseppe and the entire team welcomed us with open hearts, full of warmth and genuine kindness. We had tried organizing our intimate wedding dinner at three other venues before – none of them felt right, until we found this gem. Here, everything was possible from the start. Giuseppe was incredibly open to our ideas, even though we were organizing everything from abroad and communicating only via WhatsApp. When the big day came, our expectations were not only met – they were surpassed. The food was absolutely delicious, unique, and served with perfect timing, even though we chose quite a complex menu. The service was flawless – every staff member was smiling, attentive, and truly happy to be part of our evening. When we arrived after the ceremony, Giuseppe and the owner greeted us with heartfelt congratulations and his charming smile – a moment we’ll never forget.

And as a special highlight of the evening, the team surprised our guests with a live tiramisu show – preparing the dessert in front of everyone for 10 people! It was entertaining, elegant, and unforgettable – a beautiful touch that added to the magic of the night.

I could not recommend an experience less. If you have the displeasure of meeting Giuseppe their "Somalia" it will most certainly put off your evening. We arrived for dinner knowing my wife's stomach was uneasy, making the best of the evening I ordered an Aperol Spritz for a friend and I. Giuseppe took it upon himself to reprimand us for ordering such a drink when it is not time for an aperitif. He instead suggested that we order a wine from his curated wine list which he did not offer a single suggestion, I will mention the wines were all £30+ each. After an uncomfortable exchange we ordered the house wine and a soda. We unfortunately needed to leave as her stomach wasn't right, when we went to pay we explained the situation and Giuseppe's callous response was "what no time for tiramisu?". I have never reviewed a place so negatively and hope the atmosphere changes for future...

Un'esperienza culinaria che conquista il palato

Non avremmo potuto scegliere un posto migliore per goderci una serata a Scopello. Il ristorante ha un'atmosfera davvero incantevole, perfetta per una cena in compagnia, ma il vero spettacolo si svolge in cucina.

Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di cozze che erano una vera e propria poesia: freschissime, carnose e con un sugo che era impossibile non "fare la scarpetta" fino all'ultima goccia. Un inizio così promettente ha creato grandi aspettative, e non siamo rimasti delusi.

La frittura di pesce era un capolavoro di leggerezza e sapore. Il pesce era perfettamente dorato, croccante fuori e tenero dentro, senza nemmeno un'ombra di unto. Era un mix di pesci di paranza che si scioglieva letteralmente in bocca, e ogni boccone raccontava il sapore autentico del mare.

Il piatto forte, però, è stata la rana pescatrice. Non esagero quando dico che era "soprasensibile". Il pesce era di una delicatezza incredibile, cotta alla perfezione e servita in un modo che ne esaltava ogni minima sfumatura di sapore. Ogni assaggio era un'esperienza a sé stante, e si percepiva chiaramente la qualità della materia prima e la maestria dello chef.

Un Tiramisù che è pura magia

Non è solo un dessert, ma un'esperienza indimenticabile. La nostra cena si è conclusa con il tiramisù scomposto, e la sua preparazione al tavolo, eseguita dal gentilissimo e cortese caposala Giuseppe, è stata uno spettacolo che ha superato ogni aspettativa.

Con movimenti precisi e una passione visibile, Giuseppe ha trasformato un semplice dolce in un'opera d'arte. Gli ingredienti freschissimi si sono uniti davanti ai nostri occhi: la crema vellutata, il caffè dal profumo intenso e il cacao in polvere a completare il tutto. La sua cortesia e la sua attenzione ai dettagli hanno reso questo momento ancora più speciale. Non era solo un dessert, ma un'esclusiva dimostrazione di cura e dedizione.

L'assaggio ha confermato tutto: un equilibrio perfetto di sapori, una leggerezza incredibile e una cremosità avvolgente. Un finale da standing ovation. Torneremo senz'altro, non solo per il cibo, ma per rivivere la magia di questo momento unico.

Ma la sorpresa non è finita qui. Abbiamo anche provato il Crumble al cioccolato con gelato alla vaniglia, che si è rivelato un'altra delizia. Un contrasto di temperature e consistenze che ha conquistato il palato in ogni singolo boccone.

In sintesi, un'esperienza che unisce un servizio cortese e impeccabile a una cucina di altissimo livello. Se cercate un posto dove la qualità e il gusto sono protagonisti, questo è il posto giusto. Torneremo...
