We came to Tenute Plaia with modest expectations, after a few disappointing meals elsewhere. What we found instead was a place of quiet balance, the view and stillness alone felt restorative.

We dined on the terrace, overlooking the hills and the sea. The air was calm, the setting serene, the kind of silence that feels alive rather than empty. From the first greeting, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel instantly at ease.

The food was exceptional: authentic Sicilian cooking with depth and honesty. Every dish carried a sense of place, clear flavors, thoughtful execution, nothing showy. We were the only guests that evening (perhaps because we came early around 7 PM), but the solitude made the experience even more memorable.

In essence, Tenute Plaia doesn’t aim to impress, it simply delivers truth through simplicity. A place where food, landscape, and calm...

We have spent the last 4 summers in Scopello and were lucky to discover this restaurant a few years ago.

The setting is lovely and it’s so peaceful. However unfortunately this year the area seems to have a huge problem with wasps and they were everywhere today. It started so peacefully and we were all commenting about how peaceful it was but shortly after we arrived and settled in to our aperitif my daughter was stung.

I hope restaurants in the area will proactively try to sort out these wasp nests as they really ruin a meal.

Amazing! One of the best places I've ever been ❤️. Thank you for the hospitality and for the dinner! It was delicious 😋. We stayed one night and we felt amazing. The room was clean 👌, the dinner and the breakfast was excellent. Fresh fish. You must try busiate pasta and the local wine with "bollicine". The next day we visited Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro. Even if we checked out in the morning, they took care of our baggage 🧳 and they let us to use the pool and the shower. For sure we will return. Thank you...
