Yumbeer Fish — Restaurant in Castiadas

I am here on holiday with my family, the last couple of years we went to Yumbeer and when I saw that they were opening a fish restaurant I was very excited (I only really eat fish whilst in Sardinia- it is much better!) All of the staff were so polite and kind when we arrived, we had a swordfish burger (INCREDIBLE!!!), tempura prawns and a fish and chips (had to give the fish and chips a try- and they were fab!). The chips are like crisps (better than English chips!). I wasn't going to get pudding, but we all got pudding... very glad we did, we had strawberries with different chocolate mousse, a pineapple ice cream in chocolate with biscuit underneath and a lemon sorbet. I could have eaten all three myself!! Prices were very good, staff were so kind and the toilets were beautifully clean! We have already been back again for their aperitivo, which was a tasty selection of cheese, fried fish and fruit! We will definitely be dining here again this holiday!! Five stars...

Aggiornamento 2025. Sono tornata a giugno e luglio 2025. Ho mangiato degli ottimi gamberi crudi che avevo richiesto alla prenotazione. Freschissimi e serviti con ghiaccio e frutta una vera delizia per la vista e per il palato. A seguire polpettine di pesce sfiziose e una cheesecake ai frutti di bosco che ho adorato. Sono stata di nuovo a luglio e ad agosto e la qualità e il servizio sono sempre ottimi. Un ristorante dove è piacevole stare per l'atmosfera curata e rilassante. Preparazioni accurate e non banali con un tocco di creatività ( da provare la tartare di spigola agli agrumi). Ambiente rilassante e servizio accogliente. Pesce e materie prime freschissime (il menù cambia in base alla disponibilità del pescato). Pane e pasta freschi fatti a mano dalla crew di cucina. Anche la scelta dei vini è l'evidente frutto di una scelta fatta con cura dalla padrona di casa Natalia che potrà raccontarvi la storia di ciascuna cantina da lei personalmente visitata.Punti in più per la scelta musicale raffinata che rispecchia la volontà di offrire un'esperienza culinaria molto lontana dalla solita gastronomia turistica onnipresente sulla costa. Ah! Non perdetevi i dolci! Davvero notevoli per armonia di sapori e bellezza estetica.
