Such a great experience! I’ve spent two days in Chianti and on our way to Arezzo we found this place on Google and wanted to try it. Best choice ever! The food is delicious and every person that works there is friendly and cares about the guests. We had the Pappa al Pomodoro and the Tartare as starters and then we had the Cacio e Pepe and the Ravioli. Superlative! We forgot to take a picture of the Cheescake and that was so delicious too. Prices are OK and they just reflect the high quality. Really recommended, if you happen to pass by Castiglion Fiorentino, you should definitely try Il Buongustaio.

LOCATION: noi abbiamo pranzato accomodandoci ai tavoli fuori dal ristorante, sulla strada principale del paese. Mangiando all'aperto abbiamo avuto problemi con il sole fisso addosso, presenti gli ombrelloni ma non ci coprivano. MENÙ: tipico toscano e non solo, non grandissimo ma con buona scelta fra antipasti, primi e secondi. Ci hanno offerto un calice di prosecco come benvenuto. Noi abbiamo mangiato: -Tartar di mazo con rucola, pomodorini semi dry, crema inglese e aceto balsamico, -hamburger con cipolle caramellate, pecorino toscano, rucola, pomodoro e salsa tartara, servito con patate fritte con buccia. Entrambi i piatti deliziosi, il panino di hamburger succulente, di grosse dimensioni e godurioso. SERVIZIO: fatto di ragazzi giovani, forse alle prime armi, un po' impacciati ma con gran voglia di fare. CONTO: buona cifra, abbiamo speso 26 euro a testa, valsa tutta la pena!

Ci siamo ritrovati in questa città accogliente e suggestiva di epoca etrusca e seguendo il consiglio di Maurizio siamo andati in questo locale/bar/alimentari/ristornate e con immensa sorpresa abbiamo trovato tutto il personale simpatico e professionale, tra Simona, Laura, Antonella e ... altri(putroppo non mi ricordo i nomi di tutti). Il proprietario Riccardo propone un menù vario e legato al territorio, piatti elaborati, ottimi sia nella presentazione che nella qualità. Ti accolgono con il prosecco e la pappa al pomodoro. Carne eccezionale, come del resto anche gli antipasti e i dolci. Ottime anche le colazioni. Ci ritorneremo.

Our entire experience here was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff, to the extent that Riccardo made Is aware that a large party was expected so our later stages might be delayed if we waited to decide, etc.

A couple of Tuscan traditional dishes were phenomenally good. Every item was excellent and Riccardo's wine recommendations were solid. We'll definitely dine here again when...

We were staying in an Agriturismo nearby and came here one evening for dinner. The indoor seating area has a fantastic and cozy atmosphere. Food was very good and also the wine was great! Service was also very good. Can definitely recommend this place. Dogs were also allowed as usual in Italy.
