The food was by far the best we’ve had during our 7 nights in Apulia – absolutely delicious, incredibly high quality, and surprisingly low priced. The atmosphere is lovely, and the owner as well as one very kind waitress made us feel truly welcome. Unfortunately, the other two waiters never asked if we needed anything and seemed to ignore us from the moment we arrived until we left. We only received menus after asking, and guests who arrived later were served before us.

I’ve gotten somewhat used to this kind of experience when traveling, and I can understand that people sometimes act the way they do because of the environment they’re used to. Still, it was a bit disappointing – especially if you happen to be a person of color, as the difference in treatment can feel noticeable.

That said, with such outstanding food at this price, it’s definitely worth a visit – and with good service, it must be an amazing...

Una trattoria, un ristorante ma no che dico una casa di amici dove cenare in tutta tranquillità, con piatti tipici della tradizione preparati con cura dalla mamma di Carmine, con un valore aggiunto Andrea il cameriere che con le sue battute, i suoi sorrisi e la sua strafottenza ( molto positiva ) ti consiglia cosa mangiare e anche cosa non mangiare per non rischiare di prendere troppa roba e poi magari non mangiarla. Il giorno del nostro decimo Anniversario , il mio fidanzato per farmi un sorpresa ha chiamato due ore prima e gli ha chiesto se ci preparava una parmigiana di zucchine e loro solo per noi( sconosciuti fino alla sera prima) hanno messo in moto la preparazione senza perdersi d’animo. Se potessi dare 6 o 7 stelle , gliele darei soprattutto per il calore, l’umanità e il rispetto con cui accolgono i clienti , il cibo squisito è un valore aggiunto con i prodotti anche del loro orto che profumano di una terra che se amata e curata regala i frutti e le verdure di qualità. Insomma non vedo l’ora di tornare in Salento per andare a trovare i nostri nuovi amici e cenare in questa fantastica “ Casa “ che si chiama “ La Fùlana” per omaggiare una grande donna e una grande cuoca La...
