The restaurant is pretty, the atmosphere is classy and the food is well presented. We had a reservation, so no waiting time (also end of season, hence not too crowded inside). The pizza, I must admit, was a mix of surprises. The ingredients are first class, absolutely loved the burrata. But the pizzaiolo is rather stingy with the ingredients. I initially thought it was a matter of choice, as my pizza had anchovies that can be rather overpowering, but even the other pizzas were quite "minimalistic". The experience because of this is a little compromised, because each bite is not rich enough. A second note is the pizza dough, which is far from the best I had. Not bad, let's be clear, but not even particularly interesting, especially the cornicione, which is not crunchy but quite "bread-y". I feel that a more generous amount of ingredients would have helped, also to justify prices which are higher compared to competitors in the area.

Update & thanks for explaining your price that i can understand the reasons: Man zahlt hier 2,50€ pro Person für das Gedeck/Servietten.

We were in this restaurant 12 years ago. We decided to visit this place again after all these years. And what to say... Everything was still perfect as we remembered. Great food made out of quality ingredients. It was made relatively quickly considering fully occupied restaurant and it was delicious, tasty wine and very friendly and fast staff. And their tiramisu? Best in whole Italy! ❤️🇮🇹 If you want to ve sure, that you'll be seated, I reccomend you to make a reservation in advance.

Dear La Lanterna Management,

My name is Paul Osweiler, and I had the opportunity to dine at your establishment yesterday. I am writing this reclamation to share my experience and provide feedback regarding my visit to La Lanterna.

Upon approaching La Lanterna, I was immediately drawn to its inviting exterior and appealing design. The restaurant exuded an air of sophistication and promised an enjoyable dining experience. However, my initial impression quickly wavered as I encountered some disappointing aspects.

The two waiters who attended to us were notably friendly and provided attentive service. However, I regret to inform you that the individual responsible for directing customers to their tables exhibited a distinct lack of friendliness and showed a great deal of arrogance.

Moving on to the food, my girlfriend ordered the scampi wok dish, which arrived cold. While the taste was satisfactory, the temperature was quite underwhelming. As for my own order, I selected a burger with fries. To my disbelief, the burger was served without any meat. It was only after a considerable delay that the same arrogant waiter returned with a cold, dry, and overcooked patty. His insincere apology, delivered in an ironic manner, made me question whether it was intended as a joke.

I understand that mishaps can occur, but the manner in which these issues were handled left much to be desired. Such experiences greatly diminish the overall enjoyment of a dining outing.

I strongly urge La Lanterna to address the behavior and attitude of the staff member responsible for seating guests. A more welcoming and accommodating approach would enhance the overall dining experience and leave a lasting positive impression on customers.

Furthermore, attention should be given to ensuring that all dishes are served at an appropriate temperature and with the correct ingredients. Consistency and quality are crucial in providing a memorable dining experience.

I appreciate the opportunity to share my feedback and offer suggestions for improvement. With some adjustments and a commitment to customer satisfaction, I believe La Lanterna can regain its potential as a remarkable dining establishment.

Thank you for your attention to my concerns. I hope that my reclamation will be taken seriously and lead to positive changes that will benefit both the restaurant and its...

I’ve known this restaurant for many years and decided to give it another chance after a long time away. Unfortunately, my impression hasn’t really improved.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait quite a while for our table. The starter was actually good and raised expectations, but the main course was a big disappointment – extremely plain pasta for the price, with hardly any flavor. Thankfully, the dessert was delicious and managed to end the meal on a more positive note.

Service, however, felt inattentive and rather weak overall, which made the experience even less enjoyable. All in all, sadly a disappointing visit again – and for this quality at these prices, I won’t be returning...
