When we arrived, the servers seemed confused by the fact that I had made a reservation online (which was confirmed via email). Eventually, they located the table they'd written my first name on, off in the corner of the patio in front of the tiny "playground".

I ordered an antipasti for the table and each of us ordered a main course. My husband and my son got their dinners (mostly — part of my son's dish never came) with the antipasti — and that was it. We never got water, though we had said yes when it was offered. We were never asked about a second glass of wine, or anything else.

Eventually, the mosquitoes on the patio got so bad that I asked the server to move us inside, which she obliged, but there was still no sign of my meal, and the servers inside didn't seem to know what to do with us. I asked how long my dish would take, and realized when they said "five more minutes" that they probably had never started it. I told them to just forget it and asked for the bill, which we were directed to the bar to pay, and left.

Beautiful setting, even when you are seated outside you would think you would be distracted by the road noise but it is surprisingly peaceful.

We had lunch which is quite a small menu and different to the evening menu so we tried the evening menu a few days later. You will not be disappointed!! We wanted to try a few dishes so ordered a few to share, when they came to the table they were portioned in front of us as they knew we was sharing! A lovely touch. Even the pasta dish with artichoke was shared to us! The staff are lovely and the food was great! We had crispy prawns, salt cod pâté and seabass, everything was amazing but we would have preferred the seabass a little less cooked. Will definable return! Even great for a spritz in the afternoon sun! Lovely...

The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance, and the food truly stands out. Classic regional dishes are given a creative, modern twist, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. It’s definitely a place worth visiting for the culinary experience alone.

However, the service didn’t quite match the high quality of the food. We experienced some delays and had several different staff members attending to our table, which led to a bit of confusion. With more consistency and a calmer service flow, the overall experience could be even more enjoyable.

One small note: the coperto charge of €4 per person felt a little high compared to other places.
