I usually don’t write long reviews, but this will be the exception. Hands down the best restaurant we’ve eaten at during our two weeks in Puglia — if not ever.

We stopped here on our way from southern Puglia to the Amalfi Coast. We’ve dined at some of the best restaurants in the world, but never before have we had an experience where everything — from the warm welcome by Rosario and his thoughtful explanations, to the service, and the selection of antipasti, main dishes, and dessert — was both perfect and heartfelt, from beginning to end. We were made to feel truly special as guests. Every dish sang with a harmony of flavours and was a testament to true, deep respect for the locally sourced produce.

We like to try Michelin restaurants when we travel and this restaurant richly deserves its inclusion in the Michelin guide and more! The dishes are cooked and presented to perfection. I particularly want to mention the dessert with cooked milk, specially-made vanilla gelato and fruit and vegetable salad that tasted soooooo good that I still could not forget it about 1 week after eating it. And the service was unbelievably outstanding. The owner greeted every patron with genuine warmth. He took an interest in every patron. How incredible is that?! To me, this restaurant sets the bar extremely high for other restaurants across the world to follow. Not only in terms of the food but also in terms of the service.
