My family and I (there were 5 of us) went to this restaurant just to order dessert because we were there before and everything was very tasty.

The restaurant was almost empty, but despite this, the woman, who, as we later realized, is the owner, immediately made it clear that she did not want to serve us. She began to speak something aggressively in Italian and wave her hands, addressing her colleague, the waiter, who, by the way, first told us that we could sit down.

This man was very friendly and pleasant. He talked to her and told us that we could sit down, but we decided to leave because it was unpleasant.

The behavior of this woman was extremely unfriendly and unpleasant. We did not expect such an attitude, especially considering that the restaurant was not busy, and we just wanted to calmly drink coffee and eat a dessert that we liked so much. Had an amazing lunch at this restaurant on a very quiet January afternoon. We were looking for a place in Cervo and stumbled across this restaurant and were taken with the look. It was just my friend and I so it was very quiet. The owners were very kind and I told them I'd like some traditional Ligurian cuisine and what they would recommend. They served us a delicious variety of food and we communicated using the google translate app. They even called their daughter in Amsterdam to speak to us briefly as she was better in English. We accidently stumbled upon la Veggia Baracca and were instantly in love with the Restaurant. Very friendly owners with whom we shared a free grappa after the delicious mal. Antipasti (Vongole with black rice and other vegetables) was amazing, but was still surpassed by the pizza biancas that followed.
