If you are even slightly nearby you must figure out a way to get to this restaurant. I felt like I had a private chef experience. Each dish was personally curated. Absolute perfection. The chestnut risotto has an incredible depth of flavor. Some sweet, some salty with the cheese. Hell the chef even showed us the cheese he used. The carbonara was to die for. My wife said it was the best she ever had. This coming from a woman who lived in Rome for 2 years!!! Then came the steak... Wow did it ever show up. Fist the sides, fresh yellow peppers and another if eggplant. The chef showed us each vegetable before he made it to ask if it was okay, even consulting on seasoning. This may never happen again in my life, but it was appreciated. So then came the steak and oh boy didn't ever show up. The steak was perfectly medium rare, served with barolo salt and lemon. As well as steak onions. These were all amazing on their own, but the combination made me feel slightly closer to heaven. Then came part 2. Another section of steak prepared in another manner. As the chef put it, one woman the other man. Woman medium rare, Man more well done. The second steak was in Italian seasoning with tomato and olive oil. It melts in your mouth and makes you feel like all other steaks in life were a prelude to this one. The bread was pretty amazing too, but honestly everything else was so I good I forgot to mention it earlier. There was a small caponata that he made as well that made me think that perhaps I had died and this was my last meal on earth. Luckily I was alive long enough to write this review. If you need me, I'll be sleeping in the chef's outdoor garden.

We specifically travelled from Sestri Levante to eat here, and it was more than worth the trip. If you are looking for an impeccable, yet non-pretentious dining experience—this is the place. My husband and I each chose one of the full menus—fish and meat—and each was its own culinary journey matched with a beautifully paired wine and a general theme throughout each dish. Hands down one of the best meals we’ve had while in Liguria. With an online menu in multiple languages, we were able to easily refer to each dish and its well thought out ingredients, and the chef often brought our plates to us with a personal descriptor of the plate. Our server, Gabriel, also provided very thoughtful attention. We finished with the perfect digestivo and the chef offered another complimentary one crafted from wild blueberries in Sardinia. Absolute perfection! My French husband says he would give 6 stars if he could and I agree!

They had a QR code for the menu which has multiple languages, making it easy to order. The owner showed all of the raw ingredients to us before cooking, and told us in advance when there were discrepancies on the menu some ingredients weren't available). Truly went above and beyond!

Materie prime di ottima qualità, servizio troppo lento dopo 1 0ra e quaranta minuti in tempi diversi sono arrivati i primi, quindi non abbiamo consumato insieme la prima portata chi mangiava e chi guardava. Il secondo molto buono il branzino peccato non sia stato spinato. Proprietario simpatico, nonostante non ci sia personale in sala se non lui e lo Chef. Una pecca grossa è di aver fatto delle varianti ai primi senza avvisare quindi piatto diverso da come descritto nel menù. Nel complesso il mio voto è 3.

Oggi 30 Luglio rispondo a cio' che ha scritto il gestore: Innanzitutto siamo arrivati alle 21,00 come da prenotazione Lei è arrivato alle 21,25 a prendere l'ordine e spiegare il menù i primi sono arrivati dopo più di 1 ora e non a tutti, lei ci ha detto che siccome fate tutto al momento i tempi si allungano certo non pensavamo così tanto... ed eravamo solo ai primi. Abbiamo ordinato il Branzino che abbiamo visto in fase di comanda , non vedendolo arrivare alle 22,35 chiediamo se il pesce era pronto risposta da parte sua "non ho fatto ancora in tempo perché ho fatto altro" tant'è che non lo volevamo quasi più visto che non era ancora stato cucinato ma lei ha insistito che sarebbe stato pronto in 5 massimo 10 minuti al vapore o all'acqua pazza abbiamo detto faccia Lei per sveltire il tutto Ergo il Branzino è arrivato alle 22,50 tenendo conto che era l'unico secondo ordinato oltre ad una tartare di carne anch'essa arrivata poco prima del pesce. Le modifiche che dice che ci sono state era sapere se vi fosse della rucola perché due persone sono fortemente allergiche, altre modifiche non mi pare ci siano state. Per quanto riguarda il Risotto giallo che è arrivato bianco lei ne ha portati due come da ordine dicendo ho finito lo Zafferano in bustina non l'ho comprato allora ho usato la Curcuma come decoro tanto è insapore... non ha mai comunicato prima tutto ciò lo ha detto mettendo i piatti a tavola..... quindi io ribadisco che la qualità della materia prima era buona, ma non tollero false spiegazioni e dire cose non vere, tenendo conto che in sala a servire c'era soltanto lei e la Chef in cucina e al momento del conto la stessa lasciava la cucina x andare alla cassa siamo usciti alle 23,10 quindi non prendiamoci in giro , sicuramente tornerò a mangiare e spero che vada meglio la prossima volta. A volte ci sono critiche che hanno come unico scopo di essere...
