MoraMora — Restaurant in Chioggia

Absolutely excellent food – it’s better to make a reservation, as on our first weekend evening without one we couldn’t get a table. The steak was perfect, the polenta with cuttlefish absolutely delicious, and the spaghetti excellent. Fast and efficient service even with a full restaurant. Very pleasant staff.

Chioggia overall was a big surprise. The first time we stayed just one night as a necessary stop on the way to the ferry in Livorno, and the town charmed us. Yesterday our small family (two adults with a small child) were simply deceived. The main waiter, apparently the manager, advised to take the dish, which turned out to be the most expensive of all dishes, namely a cold small starter for 30€. Although we expressed a desire to advise us a hot main course. Well, we took two portions, for me and my husband. There were some seafood on the plate, a couple of crackers and a small salad. Maybe one of the problem was that nobody could speak and understand even English. But the main problem was greed! God be his judge. Take a look at this...

Pranzo di Pasqua ECCELLENTE!!

Io e la mia famiglia (14 persone) siamo stati ospiti in questo ristorante per il pranzo di Pasqua e siamo stati trattati molto, molto bene! Locale molto carino al centro del lungomare di Sottomarina, ben arredato, molto luminoso, con possibilità di sedersi sia dentro (come abbiamo scelto noi), sia fuori in prossimità del lungomare. All'arrivo siamo stati accolti da Paolo, il proprietario, con gentilezza e cordialità, cosa che ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. Dopo esserci accomodati al nostro tavolo il personale, (tutte ragazze molto gentili e pronte a risolvere ogni difficoltà) ha cominciato a servire dell'ottimo vino frizzante e a dare il via alle portate. Il pranzo è stato a dir poco eccellente e veramente di qualità. Bis di antipasti di mare, bis di primi (un terzo primo fuori menù offerto dal proprietario), grigliata di pesce (fresco e ben cucinato), frittura croccantissima ed asciutta chiaro sintomo che i prodotti da loro usati sono di prima scelta e freschissimi, sorbetto, caffè e "ammazzacaffè" tutto servito senza tempi morti e sempre con il sorriso e gentilezza. Anche se il locale era pieno, non vi è stato nessun problema ne sul servizio, ne sulla qualità dei piatti serviti, segno di un'ottima organizzazione. E all'uscita, trovare il proprietario ad attenderci per sapere se tutto è andato bene ha coronato un pranzo veramente ottimo. Una bella esperienza che sicuramente ripeteremo al più...
