Da quei tre — Restaurant in Chiusaforte

We stopped for an early dinner as we drove from Venice to Villach. My friend has been here before and said we must eat the pizza here. Family owned and run, friendly and warm service and good prices.

We ordered pizzas, pretty large sizes. My friend got a vegan one (removed meat and dairy) with a side garden salad, mineral water and crodino which I added the mineral water and ice = refreshing. The pizza dough is pretty incredible. We finished off the meal with espresso.

You can sit indoors or outdoors. The view alone is mind blowing driving up and through the mountains. If you’re not hungry just stop for a coffee or water - the view is incredible so sit outdoors.

Very disappointing experience. We placed an order for a specific time, but it was not respected at all. No apologies, no explanation. On top of that, the attitude of the managers and waitresses was unprofessional — they looked down on us and spoke to each other in another language, which made the atmosphere even more unpleasant. Great pizza! Base is crisp and the thin. The ingredients were aromatic and tasty. Simply delicious!

The only negative comment is that the mushrooms hadn’t been fresh ones but from the can.

The prices are super low - 3,50€ for an Aperol Spritz and 6-12€ the Pizza 🍕

It is the perfect place to have a very homemade Italian...
