Rampeèr Birrificio Osteria — Restaurant in Comun General de Fascia

This evening I decided to try this restaurant with craft brewery in Campitello. They made me sit at the counter on pretence that everything was booked. When I left, there were still several empty tables, including some for two that they could have easily given to me, at least on a time limit basis. I went to get a nice burger and a good beer: only one burger on the menu with a very long and captivating description. In reality, a very banal Black Angus burger (I hope) with a bit of red onion, some cheese and bacon, served with (a few) potatoes at the modest price of €22! Moral of the story: tasting of 4 beers of their own production, hamburger with potatoes and a bottle of mineral water, €36!!. There are a few other places in the neighborood that offer a far better choice of hamburgers at a fraction of the price. I cannot comment on other items on the menu since I did not try them. This place is simply superb. The quality of the ingredients shine through in every dish. The in-house brewed beers are delicious (and I usually don’t care too much for beer). The wine list features delightful local wines. The attention to detail was everywhere and service was on point. We tried quite a few dishes and drinks over the course of the week in Campitello and were not disappointed with any of them. One of my highlights was the Canederli (dumplings).
