After a 21 day trip to Italy in July, we have to say that our visit to Bella Napoli at Riva Del Garda was our most favorite. We spent 4 days at Riva Del Garda and during that time we had a meal at Bella Napoli 3 times. I believe that says quite a lot! :)
The food was the best we've had in Italy and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. We tried their pasta, risotto and their seafood menu too which was simply superb. We did regret only going there 3 times and wished we could have been there more. Book in advance as they get all booked up for weeks in advance otherwise you need to go really late in the evenings as we usually did.
Above all, the staff here were the best we've ever encountered. Since travelling with a 2 year old can have its challenges, we were in a warm and friendly environment which was simply the best. They were joking with you, singing around and kept the place very vibrant and alive!
A big shout out to Andrei who was our waiter on the first day and after returning there the next two times did make sure that we were well taken care of. The other staff there were also excellent and the lively energy they brought there was just entertaining. Watching all the other tables too we noticed of how well everyone was treated there with a very cozy environment.
During our visits there we were not only introduced to an amazing Italian cuisine but Andrei also taught us well on the Grappa selection they had there...and it was the best i must say!! To top it off after our last meal there he did gift us a bottle of grappa which was made for them specifically. That was the icing on the cake of the hospitality we received at...
Read moreBella Napoli is the perfect spot in Riva del Garda, excelling in everything from customer service to food and location. Just a short two-minute walk from the lake, it offers a lovely outdoor seating area that feels even more comfortable than the indoor option.
The staff is warm and welcoming, especially Damjana, who stood out for her attentiveness and helpfulness, making sure everything was just right during our visit.
I ordered the Penne Arrabbiata, which was absolutely delicious. Every bite was fresh, with a light and perfectly balanced taste, though it was a bit spicy. A little salt and cheese would have enhanced the flavor even further. The Tagliatelle agli spinaci con gamberi e pomodorini was also good—simple, light, and fresh, though it could have used a bit more spice for added depth.
The Baffini pizza was a highlight. A vegetarian option topped with burrata cheese, the dough was light, crispy, and not oily at all. The fresh basil added the perfect finishing touch.
For anyone visiting Riva del Garda, Bella Napoli is a must-try restaurant. Prices are reasonable considering the high quality and generous portions. I’ll definitely...
Read moreWe came to Bella Napoli twice during our 5-days stay at Riva. For the first lunch, we came early and the waitress friendly greeted us and immediately seated us in the comfortable corner and offered baby chair for our 9 month. It’s important to know what food to order in this place, as the Menu offered quite range of options. We had seafood spaghetti, baked fish with potatoes, spinach knödel and penne pastas and Napolitan pizza for our girls. We were satisfied with our first lunch. The hint was that we took the left over pizza home and had it later. Even their cold pizza tasted so good! Yes, the second lunch we ordered only pizza. And it was the best pizza we had during our three weeks of holiday in Italy! Both of our stays were without reservations, but the waitress was really hands-on and attentive to our needs. They checked on us for time to time, if everything was fine. Definitely will come again next time...
