Awesome Balsamic Factory with beautiful views of the lake. We had a very informative tour that helped us appreciate the balsamic more; booked through Europlan Experiences for €30 per person which gave us a tour and many different tastings of their own delicious cheeses, meats, 2 different wines, homemade bread, 3 different ages of balsamic, and their olive oil- all made at their agritur and all absolutely delicious and available to buy for reasonable prices; we also ordered their tiramisu and ace ice cream (orange, carrot, and lemon in one flavor) - both were really tasty. It was everything we wanted in a tasting experience. They just recently in 2021 finished their first 11 year batch of balsamic- it was so good and we can seriously see this place getting famous for their food, balsamic, and the gorgeous views of the mountains and lake. House DOP red wine €18 overloaded with tannins and sulfites (think acid melting red teeth), bottle came out cold and already opened ahem refilled. Antipasto plate was excellent but doesn’t make up for the mains that didn’t match their descriptions. Avoid. Instead go and support a good local place that is GIVING not just one of these tourist traps on the TAKE where you’re just another money bag. It is like they are not tasting any of their products and just drawing customers with the huge balcony. Food and wine were no good. Waiters clearly understood what we ordered and we were charged for an extra dish which appears to happen to others. Good reviews cannot be serious. They’re just milking everyone. Caveat...

We came to the restaurant in a group of 8 people. My husband and I were among the first people in the group to start taking seats. When I had my purse on the chair and was ready to sit down (I must add that I was tired after a long day and 6 months pregnant), the waiter took the tableware from under my nose and told me to take my purse from the chair and then took the chair away without a word of explanation. There were a few empty seats in front of me before the rest of the group came to take their seats. I believe that you should not treat your guests this way and I am leaving my opinion for such behavior. I leave two stars for the rest of the service...
