I arrived at the hotel and it was set right in the mountains. A beautiful spot, however only accessible if you have a car. The hotel management were really friendly and gave my keys and I went up to my room. When I opened the door the room was completely pitch black, which I found very unwelcoming. The room smelt muffled and old, the floor was covered in an ugly dated office style carpet (which literally must of been years old as it had faded marks).The furniture looked nothing like the furniture on the website. The bathroom was clean but hideous, again nothing like trip advisor or what I'd seen on booking.com. I took photographs of my room because the hotel management said it was non-refundable and I have since complained to booking.com. I am upset that the hotel haven't tried to give me any money back as they shouldn't be charging that for a room that is nothing like the others. I left the hotel without staying and they then told booking.com that I hadn't showed up (again not true). I have insisted that booking.com go and investigate, I was given room...

The hotel is perfectly positioned, it takes just 10 minutes to the main places of interest, like Riva del Garda, medieval Borgo of Canale di Tenno, Tenno lake and cosy town of Arco. And its placed in the center of the town of Tenno, that is cute and cosy itself, with its castle, narrow streets, old houses. ||The hotel is children friendly, they have cots, baby chairs and they can prepare for your child something different from the menu if you need. Also there is a playground in the garden of the hotel. ||The food is very great, breakfast has a bit of everything, sweet and salty. We took the half board plan and didn't regret, not only its money saving but also super tasty, there is choice of dishes and you can enjoy the specialities of the region of Trentino. ||Rooms are simple, a bit tired, but have everything necessary, quite spacious to put the cot and still have enough space around. ||Also there is free parking just in front of the hotel, only for the hotel and restaurant guests. ||Just on front of the hotel there is the church, and the bells are...
