Taproom Riva del Garda — Restaurant in Comunità Alto Garda e Ledro

We ended up searching on Google, as we did not know about this place from our previous trips here. It is relatively close to the centre and the location itself it's quite nice.

They offer a wide range of food, from burgers to pizza and meat cuts. I had the beef steak, and I was happy with it. It was cooked nicely, though I am not a big fan of the serving on the hot grill as it keeps on cooking it.

My friends tried other foods. Three had the pulled pork and they agree on 4 stars. Another had the ribs and he loved it. Finally, one ordered the pizza and gave a solid 4.

We all had tiramisù as dessert, and we loved the idea of serving it as a plant 🪴 and the portion is super generous!

Overall, yes you should try this place out if...

Starters were okay, not good but fine for the price. The biggest problem was the pizza diavola. Had absolutely no taste. Not a “balance of delicate flavours” as described by the business in response to other reviews. In a simple and classic pizza like a diavola the quality of the ingredients are of course important as they cannot be masked by sauces, for example. The dough, however, was good. The fries were horrible. Looked like they were cooked in century-old oil and were very salty. €5 for these is really delusional. Non posso dare più di 5 stelle purtroppo... Siamo capitati trovando il locale su the fork, appena entrati già c'era un ambiente moderno, molto particolare, che a me piace molto. È grande, ha un piano superiore dove abbiamo visto vengono festeggiati anche compleanni.

Siamo stati serviti subito, menù ampio, pizze, panini con pane fatto al momento, birre artigianali, patatine buonissime. Se proprio dovessi trovare un "difetto" sarebbe la mancanza delle verdure grigliate, ma ecco, giusto un consiglio per magari aggiungerle. Abbiamo preso una tagliata tenerissima e con cottura perfetta, servita su un piatto caldo che mantiene la temperatura, un panino con hamburger e 2 menù bimbi, con tovaglietta e colori, fantastico. La carne è ottima..ci hanno consigliato anche la pizza, con cornicione alto che ha proprio un bell'aspetto, magari la prossima volta la proveremo. Le salse di accompagnamento sono buonissime.

La ragazza bionda è stata davvero super, educatissima, bravissima nel suo lavoro e molto gentile anche con i nostri bambini.

Tant'è che siamo tornati anche per l'aperitivo... Abbiamo chiesto delle patatine per i bimbi e ci hanno servito anche dei frittini, polpettine e peperoni...la fine del mondo! Gentilezza e disponibilità sono il fiore all'occhiello di questo locale, il personale è sorridente e ti mette a tuo agio.

Consiglio sicuramente di fargli visita....e di valutare l'apertura anche a Verona...
