The place itself is quite expensive, but really worth every penny. We've been there on a Wednesday evening: the place was quite busy but when we arrived (at around 19:30) there were plenty of places still empty. I personally recommend to book a table in advance if you're going on a Friday or a Saturday.
The plates are magnificent, the menu is full of tasty proposals (5+ pages of menu!) and they even have Soba Noodles and Classical Noodles.
My personal favorite was the Spring Roll: at first I was skeptical about the fact that the singular option was chosen (as in "a single Spring Roll"), but wasn't disappointed at all. The Spring Roll is really big, it is sliced in 4 - 5 parts and it is served with a tasty sauce.
If you want to eat a fresh sushi, and don't mind spending slightly more than the other places (we payed around 35 Euros each, including the desserts), you should definitively go here.
If you don't care about the product quality, there are plenty of All-you-can-eat restaurants nearby, that are way cheaper - but if you really want to eat fresh fish and not be disappointed, this place is the way to go.
The service was good, every staff member is nice.
Definitively one of the best places in the Lugano /...
Read moreOur favorite place to eat sushi in this area. It's not the common "eat all you can" place, so it's not cheap at all. But for ala carte place, they have good quality ingredients and products. Like I wouldn't eat raw sushi and sashimi from the "eat all you can" places cos of the quality issues. Here I trust them cos I have tried them. The sashimi are of excellent quality, no fishy smell, not soft, and not too colored (from added colorants). The salmon and shrimp sashimi, they are very tasty, melts in your mouth like butter and no bad taste of poop from the raw shrimp. When eating raw seafoods, I'm all for quality so I wouldn't mind spending more. The unagi mango uramaki is a MUST TRY aside from the salmon and shrimp sashimi. The merengue with ice cream filling is very good too...
Read moreI wasn't a big fan of sushi until i went to this place. But, the restaurant changed my mind completely. I and my husband were invited by one of our clients/friends as a gesture. It is just across the border of Switzerland and Italy from Ticino towards Como. However, love the fact the fish was so fresh and well cooked. I started loving it so much and planning to go to the restaurant once more during the next week. It is very clean, spotless restaurant. The owner is putting a lot of afford to maintain it in such a...
