The menu at Il Cantuccio reflects a deep respect for regional ingredients and time-honored recipes. Each dish is prepared with evident care and precision. Their risotto, creamy and deeply savory, is a testament to the chef’s mastery of Northern Italian cuisine.

I recently had the unfortunate pleasure of dining at Il Cantuccio, and I must say, it was a total letdown. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was not up to par.
First of all, the service was abysmal. The waitstaff seemed completely disinterested and were more focused on chatting amongst themselves than attending to the customers. It took forever for someone to even acknowledge our presence, let alone take our order.
The food itself was nothing short of a disaster. The menu boasted a variety of options, but the dishes we received were far from appetizing. The presentation was sloppy, as if the chef had thrown everything together haphazardly. And don't even get me started on the taste. The flavors were bland and uninspired, leaving me longing for something, anything, to add some excitement to my meal.
To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for the quality of food and service provided. I felt like I was being ripped off, paying a premium for mediocrity. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that offer much better value for the money.
Lastly, the ambiance was far from inviting. The decor was outdated and shabby, giving off a cheap and neglected vibe. The noise level was unbearable, making it impossible to have a decent conversation without shouting.
Overall, my experience at Il Cantuccio was a complete disappointment. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining here to think twice and explore other options. There are far better restaurants in the area that offer superior food, service, and atmosphere. Save your time and money and steer clear of this...
Read moreWe visited this place and unfortunately, we were left very disappointed. We ordered pasta , potatoes and a Caesar salad.
The pasta was passable, although it looked far from fresh and seemed to have been reheated in a microwave. However, the Caesar salad was simply inedible. The vegetables had an off taste, as if they were past their prime. It seemed like someone just chopped up some vegetables, added a tiny piece of extremely dry meat with a strange gas-like flavor, and called it a salad. To make matters worse, no dressing was provided, even though it was clearly mentioned on the menu.
It was supposed to be a Caesar salad, but it was absolutely nothing like one. I would strongly suggest that they look up the actual recipe for a Caesar salad or change the name of this dish entirely. What was served did not even remotely resemble a proper Caesar salad.
We brought this to the attention of the staff, but they showed no reaction and did nothing to address the situation. It’s hard to believe that someone would prepare and serve food like this. Not only was the quality of the ingredients poor, but the preparation was also completely unacceptable. This was not just tasteless — it was unfit to eat.
On a positive note, the beer was actually quite ok, which was the only redeeming part of our visit. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience. Truly...
