Great restaurant, superb hospitality. We stumbled upon this place by chance. It was busy but we managed to get a lakeside seat where we enjoyed excellent pizzas, local wines and beer. Then the heavens opened! We have experienced thunder storms in northern Italy before but this was on a biblical scale! We were ill prepared in flip flops and a flimsy umbrella between us. I asked a member of staff if any taxis were available as we had a 20 minute walk/wade back to our hotel. None were and he then arranged for his own sister to take us home kindly escorting us with umbrellas to her car and the same kind courtesy when we arrived at our destination. She refused to accept payment but we insisted on making a contribution in recognition of their extreme kindness. This is over and above any restaurant service we have ever experienced. Very disappointing experience!!! I have eaten many times in the area at lake Iseo but this was the very first time at this restaurant (first and last time)! Quality of the food was poor! The raw fresh seafood platter was not so fresh. It even had an off taste. We also ordered the cozze (mussels) which were not cleaned well and with sand! When I explained to the lady that we didn’t eat them because they had sand, she said it’s not possible and it’s probably pepper 😜! I am from Puglia and we eat cozze daily! Trovato malissimo Ho provato a prenotare ma mi è stato risposto che non accettavano prenotazioni! Peccato che quando siamo arrivati, la cliente dopo di noi, ha appunto detto al cameriere che aveva prenotato 2 tavoli enteambi per 6 persone Da quando ci siamo seduti abbiamo dovuto aspettare più di 15 minuti solo per fare venire un cameriere a prendere le ordinazioni ed altri 2 tavoli, vicino a noi, erano nella stessa condizione. Nella telefonata di prenotazione non accettata ho anche chiesto se avevamo anche piatti senza glutine e sono stato rassicurato sulla loro presenza; Peccato che quando abbiamo ordinato ci è stato riferito che i primi erano tutti con il glutine ma i secondi e gli antipasti erano senza glutine, 30 secondi dopo lo stesso cameriere ci ha risposto "A no anche questo secondo ha il glutine, sa ha la panatura. Dopo più di 30 minuti arriva il primo piatto (una pizza margherita) mangiata più per fame che per bontà Nei 15 minuti successivi sono arrivati il tonno scottato (del quale allego la foto) 10 casoncelli (sì li ho contati) forse l'unico piatto degno di nota e un piatto di spaghetti alle vongole Ultima nota il menù: 5 antipasti 5 primi 5 secondi E 15 pizze sono un po' misere come menù. Ho deciso di dare 2 stelle perché anche se pochissimi i casoncelli erano buoni e, rispetto a molti altri ristoranti, non mi ha fatto storie per il pagamento con la carta di credito.
