THE place for beef lovers in Sulzano!

We came here for dinner, the place really was a surprise once we came around the corner! Beautiful views and a sweet terrace with lots of space to sit outside.

We enjoyed the some of the wide pasta selection as well as the rump steak and found both were of excellent quality. If you are a fan of good beef you should definitely come here!

Service was also very lovely and friendly, for future visits of tourists a food menu in English would be helpful, but nowadays everybody owning a smartphone can help...

Eravamo di passaggio ed essendo pieni gli altri posti che conoscevo abbiamo deciso di fermarci qui. Cibo nella media, solo 2 secondi (di cui una tagliata, buonina ma eccessivamente salata) ed i primi, anche se con porzioni tutt'altro che da trattoria. Il servizio, invece... Lasciamo perdere: approssimativo nella gestione e tempi biblici per ordinare, piatti arrivati alla spicciolata e non abbiamo mangiato insieme, in sostanza. Quando le patate di contorno sono finite ci hanno portato, senza preavviso (e facendole pagare) delle insalate. A causa del tempo perso (2,5h) non abbiamo preso ne dolce ne caffè. Al momento del conto (onorato senza batter ciglio) abbiamo fatto notare la lentezza e ci hanno risposto, borbottando, che il personale è quello che è e che il locale era pieno: peccato non fosse così e anche un altro tavolo ha dovuto annullare una porta a causa dell'eccessiva lentezza. Nel 2023, un posto dove "mangiare" e basta......

Wir haben Mitte Mai auf der Durchreise zu Abend gegessen und das Rumpsteak bestellt. Zu unserer Überraschung bekamen wir dünne Scheiben von dem wirklich sehr guten Fleisch wie ein Carpacchio angerichtet. Das war zwar anders, als wir es erwartet hatten, aber durchaus sehr lecker. Dazu hatten wir uns gebackene Kartoffeln bestellt, die sich allerdings als gewürfelte gekochte und in der Pfanne leicht angebratene Kartoffeln herausstellen. Das wäre im Grunde nicht weiter schlimm gewesen, wenn diese nicht den Geschmack von vorgekochten und im Kühlschrank mehrere Tage aufbewahrten Kartoffeln gehabt hätten. Das war fast ungenießbar! Der Service war ansonsten freundlich und ok. Wie gesagt, die Fleischqualität war ausgezeichnet. Wegen der Kartoffeln allerdings nur 3 Sterne, sonst wären es 4 statt 5 gewesen, da auch das Ambiente innen schon etwas...
