Bad experience with the young lady working outside : we had booked a table on the lake, but when we arrived, she said it was not available and already pre-booked. We asked for an alternative seing that 2 people were about to leave, but she said it was not possible. We stayed in the garden for a few more minutes and were shocked to see that 2 people with no reservation managed to get the table that the couple was leaving. When we challenged the lady, she became agressive and very rude. This person should not work in the hospitality industry. Too bad this employee ruined the moment as we previously had a good experience of this place...

What an amazing place to eat and relax. The views are stunning and there was such a wonderful atmosphere in this gorgeous lakeside restaurant. We couldn't fault a thing- from thw lovely friendly staff to the delicious food and surroundings, we would be back in a heartbeat! A monte isola, sulla passeggiata lungolago, c'è davvero l'imbarazzo della scelta di locali che propongono piatti tipici della zona. Noi abbiamo optato per la Trattoria del sole dopo una passeggiata di 20 minuti da Peschiera maraglio a Sensole. La trattoria si affaccia sul lago proprio in prossimità del porto di Sensole dove attraccano i traghetti. Dispone di un bel posto all'aperto con tavolini sulla riva del lago e di una bellissima veranda coperta con vista lago dove abbiamo mangiato. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il personale è stato molto gentile e accogliente. Molto curata e bella la tavola che a prima vista non ci è sembrata quella di una trattoria ma piuttosto di un ristorante. Abbiamo deciso di assaggiare due piatti tipici della zona: antipasto misto di pesce di lago e ravioli ripieni di pesce di lago oltre ad un buonissimo calice di franciacorta. Il tutto accompagnato da due insalate miste molto abbondanti. Abbiamo speso 48 euro. Il prezzo ci è sembrato in linea con quelli della zona.
