Love heading here on our way back from Livigno as it's a great stop off on the way back to Milan. It's a quirky place, but the food is always top notch. Having been 5 times previously we'd never had desert so this time we had 2. Having ordered the pistachio fondant I was scanning some of the reviews and the only one mentioning it and it said it was "tasteless". I have to tell you it was not tasteless, it was "epic". Non ricordavo il bellissimo interno del palazzo storico. Del resto come si possono ricordare le cose dopo quasi sessant'anni dall'ultima visita!!!! Quando mi capita di ritornare da queste parti devo scoprire sempre posti nuovi. Nelle varie peregrinazioni in Valtellina, mi mancava il ristorante Cerere e ieri ho provveduto a colmare la lacuna. Mi hanno fatto accomodare all'esterno sul terrazzo con una vista panoramica veramente interessante. Sono un estimatore degli sciat e dei pizzocheri e visto che erano in lista, ne ho approfittato. Nel complesso il tutto è rimasto nella normalità e nella gradevolezza, anche se con un maggiore impegno da parte del cuoco il risultato sarebbe stato migliore. Ottimo il vino "Valtellina insieme" che, anche con i suoi 13 gradi e l'annata 2010, è risultato un vino da tutto pasto, "beverino" ed a temperatura "fresca" come piace a me (prediligo il rosso ed in estate lo desidero a temperatura di "cantina"). Ottimo il semifreddo alle castagne. In una location come questa "si può e si deve fare di più". Questa è una osservazione personale e desidero che venga intesa solamente come una "critica positiva"....
