Excellent place with breathtaking view on lago di garda!

If you need to have a break from the crowded lake you can drive 10 km from Gargnano and find Al terrazzo where you can have a lunch or dinner on the terrace under the nice vines.

The owner of the place is grilling almost 60 years and you can tell he knows what he is doing! We ate twice bistecca alla fiorentina and it was both times perfectly grilled on wood from the forest!

Terrible experience. We hiked up for from the lake, being a bit sweaty from it, we got terrible looks by the staff. Wanted to start off with appertizers, a bottle of water and a beer, then decide on an entree after. The server would not allow this, either order now or don't, we were told. So I said fine, only the two appetizers and beer. He through a mini fit and slammed the check down on the table, never came back. The two appetizers were okay, but the id stay star far away...

Great view even from inside (but during warmer days that must be awesome at the terrace).

Nice and helpful staff speaking fluently both english and german which is a big plus!

Coming to the main part and food - it was amazing❤️ Great antipasti outside the menu, ravioli and gnocci was a masterpiece and tiramisu… I cant’t even find enough words for this wonderful taste!
