Update 26-8-2022 Time for our anual visit again. This time 4 stars, and not 5. Speed was good, taste was good, but they introduced an ipad ordering system (instead of an old fashioned menu and checklist). The goos thing is that your order is automatically processed and delivered very quickly. The downside is the ux and lack of overview of the menu (e.g. images, categories). If they improve that, 5 stars! See you next year mrs Amy (do you actually exist?). Ps. We were also not very hungry, because Floris ordered allderlei hapjes at Patrick.

I like. Very quick service and very tasty again! Place wasnt busy this day. I like the Asahi and I have the feeling Asahi likes me too.

Update 19-8-2020 Service is a bit slower again. Because of Corona (Covid-19) the place was busy. Chiel did not drink beer, but I will tell him tonight. In bed.

Good food and fast service. They improved a lot.

20-8-2016 I am still waiting for my food. Where is it? Where do all those plates go? Not my table. Would not recommend any sushi restaurant in Laveno. Better go to Japan, because that might be faster. Two stars are for the beers we did get.

The food served here is the typical sushi/asian fusion mix that you'll find in Europe. It's tasty, the service is nice, it won't take long to get what you ordered (unless you'll go there for dinner during weekends without having reserved). The down side of this place is that it's a bit too accustomed to serve people from northern Italy, which means spicy food isn't hot at all, spices aren't that prominent as they should and all strong flavours are toned down a bit. The best thing about this place is the attention to details on almost every serving. It's all very pleasant...

Being an Italian chain restaurant, I guess I can't expect too much. Sushi was decent, fried rice was different, GF liked the bok choy. Biggest thing was they definitely did not explain the fixed price all you can eat thing. We would have ordered more sushi if that was known. Nonetheless, isn't terribly expensive, just that they weren't clear about the pricing, and don't have English on the electronic menu, strange given most every place big and small we've been to has had English versions (and how even easier to do on an...
