If there is one place where you should eat in Laveno (or at least in the region from Laveno), then Come A Casa should be that one. The whole restaurant breathes honest home cooking as only Italians know. The clean restaurant, with the perfect interior design, makes it feel like you entered a movie. The waiters are as friendly as they can be. Nothing is too much and they like to make small jokes. It feels like entering a warm bath after they greet you. It all feels special.

The waiters and owners know their wine assortiment and can really help you to choose the correct wine for your dish. To be honest, we went twice to the place to check if it really was as good as the first one. It really is. The pictures just speak for it self. We took the seasonal dishes, mixed with a week dish. As a starter we had the “Sformatino alla Zuca” and the “Pizzocheri della Valentina”. If you want to taste the autumn, mixed with the local mountain dishes, these were the ones that made you feel cozy and ready for the colder days. As a main dish we took the “Filetto di Trota Salmonata” and the “Stinco alla birra e mele”. The pork shanks were delicious! The sauce was really a whole new level. Full of taste. With the sessert we kept it more simple. We tooke the well know Tiramisu and the chocolate labe cake.
