A wonderful discovery during our vacation in Cavalese. La Cantinetta Osteria Con Pizza is a friendly family run restaurant with authentic food of highest quality sourced from local producers. We went twice in one week because we liked the food so much and enjoyed every bit of it. The menu contains just two handful of dishes which shows that everything’s seasonal and fresh. After starter and mains we found out that there’s a great selection of desserts including ginger/apple sorbet, semifreddo of grappa, Strudel and mousse aux marrons. Apparently it is possible to have pizza, too. But why would you have pizza with this fantastic selection of dishes? Thanks for the great food! P.S.: prices are really fair, fantastic value for money!

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare a La Cantinetta e devo dire che l’esperienza è stata eccellente. I canederli sono davvero speciali, probabilmente i più buoni che abbia mai mangiato: ricchi di sapore, morbidi e perfettamente bilanciati. Il risotto ai mirtilli è stato una piacevole sorpresa, delicato ma intenso al tempo stesso. Da provare assolutamente anche il salmerino, cucinato alla perfezione, e il tagliere di formaggi, con una selezione varia e di ottima qualità. In più il prezzo è onestissimo, soprattutto considerando la qualità dei piatti e delle materie prime. Un ristorante che unisce piatti della tradizione con grande cura nei dettagli. Straconsigliato

Il cibo è squisito. Dagli abbinamenti e dalla qualità delle materie prime si capisce che dietro c'è passione per la ristorazione. I canederli con formaggio di Maso con salsa di pere noci e cipolla davvero squisiti. Il risotto menta, yogurt e molche del Garda sebbene non sia un piatto tipico l'ho trovato delizioso. Come secondo Gröstl ossia maiale, con uova all'occhio di bue e patate servito in padella. In foto la porzione è stata smezzata. Il locale non è male ma andrebbe valorizzato meglio in termini di arredamento perché, secondo me, tende ad essere un po' freddino. Consigliatissimo.

Excellent tiny Osteria serving authentic local cuisine (I think I was the only foreigner). I had never tried Granella di Moco before, it was simple yet incredibly tasteful.

I was also curious about their olive oil and they kindly redirected me to a local shop nearby. Given the fact there's limited seating (maybe about 30), I recommend to...

Abbiamo scoperto solo ora, nel momento di scrivere queste poche righe, che questa stupenda trattoria è stata in una puntata di 4 ristoranti (speriamo abbia vinto.. correremo a cercare la puntata!)

Speriamo perchè è un posto davvero incantevole.... Raggiunto a piedi dopo una passeggiata di circa 4 km (dalla centrale termica di Cavalese c'è una fantastica stradina) siamo stati accolti da un ragazzo simpaticissimo, cordiale e che ha saputo subito metterci a nostro agio. L'ambiente, che accoglie una grande stube, è caldo e familiare e le portate a menu, sarebbero state tutte da assaggiare. I canederli (alle spalle mi suggeriscono, SPETTACOLO!!!) sono davvero una chicca, ma anche pasta fatta in casa con salsiccia e funghi non è sicuramente da meno. Il vino, della casa, buono e giusto accompagnamento. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente
