This place is quite a traditional place in Villasimius. Nice to either have lunch or dinner. If the weather is good, highly recommendable to sit outside, since it’s nicer than the interior part. The food in general was good. The antipasti could have been bigger for the price. The pasta dishes were both nice, the one with Frutti do Mare and Vongole. Pasta definitely on the perfect point and tastefully cooked. They have a special way of serving dessert. They come with a trolley to your table to show you what they have that day and you can choose. Even though if it’s nice it’s not efficient/practical at all. We saw they did that on some tables around. However, when they had a bit more of stress they didn’t even asked us if we want dessert nor came to us with the trolley. They didn’t have a clear view anymore who had been already shown the dessert and who don’t. We decided not to wait anymore and left. All in all 4 stars for the pasta we ate, service with that much staff could have been...
Read moreAbsolutely not recommended if you want to enjoy a quiet dinner, you feel like you are in a company canteen. The waiters are extremely stressed. The main courses are served 45 minutes apart, so that one person is already finished while the other has to eat their main course alone. The main course, which was then complained about and not eaten, was still billed, which was shameless. We then tried to explain that one of the main courses had not been eaten and that this should be removed from the bill. There was a huge argument (customer friendliness looks different, it got very loud) until we eventually gave in and paid for the main course we had not eaten. Once and never again! Not recommended! Very big disappointment, in our entire Sardinia holiday we have never visited such a bad restaurant. Thanks...
Read moreWe stopped here at the beginning of July 2024, around 10 p.m., after having been disgusted by the chaos of Villasimius, the crowded restaurants, the large and noisy crowd of tourists queuing up in front of any shabby and squalid greasy spoon for a piece of overpriced anything. Here, there were quite a few customers, and at first, they didn't mind us at all, but once we showed up, they seated us at a table, and the service was perfect. We had a seppie salad (polpo) and a Santa Maria pizza. Everything was really excellent (for our taste) and we loved the old-fashioned, family atmosphere of the restaurant. For us, this is one of the jewels of the region, where value for money is the best around. We recommend it...
