Bar DLounge — Restaurant in Dervio

Very disappointing. It should be the place to be with a great location right by the lake but the service is so poor that it is better to go elsewhere. The last time we were there, after waiting for 10 minutes and after taking our drinks order, the waitress (mortified) told us that the kitchen was closed. Now, calling it a kitchen is already an overstatement given the extremely limited menu. But to stop "cooking" sandwiches and pre-prepared pizzas before 2 PM on a Sunday during summer with a beach full of tourists simply means that you can't be bothered. This was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE that my family and I had in our entire three-week Europe trip!

Not only was the food spectacular and fairly priced, the outdoor seating had a beautiful garden with a gorgious view of the lake, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of.

We would like to give a special shout out to chef Christiano. He came out to introduce himself, check on us to ensure the food was suitable for all dietary needs, and had a nice chat with my family and I.

La location è ovviamente molto carina e suggestiva. Premetto che questo bar è sempre stato il nostro preferito, negli anni siamo stati clienti abituali, consigliando il posto a tante persone. Stamattina invece siamo stati letteralmente presi in giro dal gestore, che oggi serviva ai tavoli. Il bar non era pieno e dopo 10 minuti che aspettavamo al tavolo senza neanche essere guardati, ci siamo permessi di alzare la mano per segnalare che eravamo pronti. Abbiamo ricevuto già li risposte ed espressioni seccate. Ci è stato detto che prima doveva fare altro e poi sarebbe arrivato. Dopo un po’ la persona in questione è andata a prendere l’ordinazione al tavolo dietro al nostro, da persone arrivate dopo di noi, palesemente volontariamente. A quel punto non abbiamo potuto che constatare che la situazione fosse davvero Imbarazzante (oltre che lenta e disorganizzata) e ci siamo alzati per andarcene, senza colazione. Ma ci è stato anche detto che siamo dei maleducati. Peccato, perché oggi sono stati persi dei clienti. Sicuramente ci verrà risposto che non interessa a nessuno se noi andiamo o no.
