This is a small, quite intimate bar, tucked around the corner from the main piazza in Dogliani. It has a relaxed atmosphere with a nice selection of Italian music playing in the background but it's still easy to sit and chat. There is a very good selection of wines as well as spirits and digestivi; they are also known for their cocktails. The young proprietor is charming and attentive, with good knowledge of the wines and food products sold. We ordered two types of pinsa to eat - simple stuff but well made and a good accompaniment to the wine. A number of other local classics are offered on the menu. We LOVED this place (and Dogliani too)! Delicious wine and local cheeses! The owners are extremely kind and knowledgeable about wine and the region. We had so much fun chatting with them as it was a quiet day due to rain. DO NOT MISS THIS GEM OF A WINE BAR!! Go chat with Luca and drink some delicious wines on the patio!! Un sabato pomeriggio mi trovavo casualmente a Dogliani. Dopo una bella passeggiata, la visita al museo civico e uno sguardo alle prove del concerto in programma per la sera si era fatta l'ora giusta per mangiare e bere qualcosa. Ammetto che la prospettiva di una pinsa con acciughe, pomodori secchi e olive mi tentava davvero tanto. E anche la torta alle nocciole. All'esterno c'erano parecchi tavoli liberi e mi sono finalmente decisa a prendere posto. Guidando io la macchina non ho potuto concedermi lo sfizio di un calice dei tanti vini tra cui scegliere.
