Ristorante Pizzeria La Torre — Restaurant in Domodossola

A few months ago, I came here to eat at midday (very nice meal!) and get a couple of pizzas to take back home. Well, pizzas can have their "off" days. After reading other reviews, it must have been the case when I had two pizzas to take out. They were the worst I have eaten in Domodossola. Did they run out of dough and have to use some that was too young? Oven not the right temperature? Who knows but what we ate was only worth 2 stars. Qualche mese fa, sono venuto qui per mangiare a mezzogiorno (pasto molto buono!) e prendere un paio di pizze da portare a casa. Bene, le pizze possono avere i loro giorni "no". Dopo aver letto altre recensioni, deve essere stato il caso in cui avevo due pizze da asporto. Erano i peggiori che ho mangiato a Domodossola. Hanno finito l'impasto e hanno dovuto usarne un po' troppo giovane? Il forno non è alla giusta temperatura? Chissà ma quello che abbiamo mangiato valeva solo 2 stelle. Il y a quelques mois, je suis venu ici pour manger à midi (très bon repas !) et prendre quelques pizzas à ramener à la maison. Eh bien, les pizzas peuvent avoir leurs jours "fermés". Après avoir lu d'autres critiques, cela a dû être le cas car j'avais deux pizzas à emporter. Ils étaient les pires que j'ai mangés à Domodossola. Ont-ils manqué de pâte et ont-ils dû en utiliser trop jeune? Le four n'est pas à la bonne température ? Qui sait mais ce que nous avons mangé ne valait...

We ate there at lunchtime today 19 October 2021. Mixed salad then seafood pasta and red wine. Everything was very very nice. BUT ( a real killer) the boss (seems like a nice guy) spent the whole time we were there having goes at the young waiter. Felt very sorry for this young guy who was doing everything to please everyone, he seemed crushed by the boss which killed the atmosphere totally. I would never eat there again I’m...

We had a wonderful time eating at La Torre. The pasta we ordered was delicious as well as the wine and dessert. The experience, however, wouldn’t have been complete without the energy and charisma of Andrea. He talked to us about Italy, gave us some place suggestions, and even offered us complementary drink tastings. Thank you so much for the lovely (and funny)...
