Ristorante San Mauro — Restaurant in Duino Aurisina / Devin - Nabrežina

We have arrived and quickly got a table. Unfortunately, service was not up to the game. We have waited far too long for the menues to order (15min). Then, one of the main orders was delivered, but the other one was not (Pizza tricolore) - like it wasn't prepared or it was forgotten. After asking they did bring the Pizza, but in total we waited over an hour for the second Pizza. The waiter excused himself and was friendly, but rather than that no compensation was offered. Cutlery wasn't prepared and partially missed on the table (only one knife). So in total we were pretty disappointed. Food quality...

I went here to eat 4 years ago and food and service were quite good. Yesterday, I ate here and I was shocked by completely decreased quality of the meals and service. Pizza was oily and tasted like old pizza from the fridge. I felt sick next day. Pizza Frutti di Mare was full of water. Waiters completely ignored us in the begining and we waited long time for the ordered meals. One star for a nice location near sea, second star for the water. After this terrible experience no one will see me in this...

Non metto mai recensioni negative, ma detesto le prese in giro. Infrasettimanale, stiamo lavorando, ci fermiamo alle 12.50, chiediamo menu fisso (che ci era stato consigliato da un amico). Con fare sbrigativo ci viene detto che il menu fisso è dalle 12 alle 13 ed è finito (alle 12.50). Rimaniamo, educatamente, ma non se lo meritano. Io mangio una pasta alle vongole che digerirò la prossima settimana, unta, piena di aglio e di conchiglie (vuote, la metà). Mio marito un fritto misto presentato triste ma buono. Nel frattempo altri si siedono e beneficiano del menu fisso, anche alle 13.15. Sparecchiano in tutta velocità, senza proporre neanche il caffè. Conto salatino, ambiente da trattoria per lavoratori: che mi va benissimo, l'ho scelto per quello. Anche perché se avessi voluto mangiare in un ristorante di pesce per bene, sarei andata 500mt più avanti e avrei trovato ristoranti di tutto rispetto per i successivi 2km. Fregare i turisti non è nobile, ma fregare i lavoratori del posto è una tattica di marketing tutta...
