This is a family run restaurant, and you will be welcomed as if you were coming to their home. We told them we loved the food (honestly the best seafood pasta I’ve ever tried) and they were thrilled. They sat with us, and the chef took the time to come outside, sit with us and tell us about his philosophy for the food - he cooks things “as they should taste”.
We tried two pastas with seafood, one of them the daily offer. Absolutely delicious, rich, excellent ingredients and technique, ample portions with lots of seafood.
The seafood was absolutely excellent and tasted like intense fresh sea (I’m from the north coast of Spain, where we have some of the best seafood in the world), the sauce rich, flavourful and balanced, the bite and texture perfectly al dente, on point.
The pasta, ravioli, several sweets (tiramisu is delicious) and many other dishes are handmade. You taste the enthusiasm, care and excitement that goes into everything.
Beyond that, we were treated amazingly by the family and had some very nice conversations. Nice relaxed vibes and ambience.
This place opened less than a year ago and already feels like a mature kitchen, family run and served with care.
100% recommend that you stop here. I will be coming back for sure. Thanks to the family for the...
Read moreAfter visiting the museo archeologico in Dorgali we were looking for a restaurant to dine. Since we were on the early side of time, after a few tries we ended up at the Da Perez restaurant.
This has been a truly memorable experience, from the start where we were welcomed by a friendly and passionate waitress telling us a bit about the restaurant and the menu. This family restaurant is around since last year with Cuban and Sard roots.
Even though I'm not a fish lover at all I decided to be bold and started with the carpaccio al tonno as appetizer, this was a truly fresh and very tasteful dish. As main menu I went with a meat dish with local influence and it was great, also especially the patate saltate were very memorable and so tasty. For dessert I went with the traditional affogato al ciocolatto.
Both my brother and I had a truly great experience, and in all the years we are coming to Sardegna one of the best restaurants we have dined in. Not only in quality, but the passion you can taste in the dishes but also in the staff putting it in - in being so polite and friendly - will surely have us come eat here again and is something I have rarely seen in quite some time.
Grazie per la...
Read moreThis restaurant is an absolutely fabulous family run gem in Dorgali, Sardinia. The father being the chef, daughter serves/bartends & the grandma makes all the pasta at home: ravioli & gurlugiones & seadas to name a few. We were a group of 6, ordering some amazing appetizers and pre-dinner drinks. I had the Gurlugiones (heavenly!) for my main plus a delicious red wine pairing recommended by the daughter. After dinner we had a Seada Dorgalese made with light dough & a soft goat cheese, drizzled with honey. Out of this world. The father/chef came out and talked to us for a few minutes at the end and we really got a sense of how much love he put into this and how proud he is to run/own Da Perez. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone...
