If I could give zero I would. Undeserving to have a restaurant in such a wonderful location. Customer service was non-existent. Not kid friendly. Avoid avoid avoid.
As a follow-up further to Agrora21 response: we did not block any entrance!!! We did tell people looking to go to the restaurant to AOVID - it is our right to do so. People should be aware that this restaurant has terrible customer service.
The issue was simple. We had two young children who needed dinner. We arrived when the restaurant opened at 5pm and even helped the staff setup the out door tables. We were the only customers. We were told it would not serve food until 6pm. This was not ideal as we needed to feed the kids but we accepted it. We ordered our food and asked for it to be served as quickly a possible at 6pm. At 6.10pm we were still the only customer. We were told our food was not being prepared because the restaurant had received a takeaway order for 15 pizzas and that took priority.
This is in my opinion utterly unacceptable when you have young children in need of food. The restaurant was very aware from 5pm that the children needed feeding. We had only ordered 2 Margherita pizzas - which do not take anytime to prepare. We asked the restaurant to reconsider and please prepare our food as we were the only customers at the restaurant and had been waiting for well over an hour. This request was rejected - despite the fact the food was for young children both of which were 3yrs old.
I should have followed the recommendation of our hotel in Luson which had told us that the restaurant was not good, and it was better to go to Brixen.
In particular if you want a Pizza go to K2 or VIP...
Read moreThe best pizza we ever had, topped off with excellent service. Already the amuse-bouche were tasty and creative. In addition, we received some home-made bread and home-made Grissini paired with delicious and fluffy butter. For starters, we had burrata with prosciutto the quality of which was superb. Then came the pizza: the dough is extremely fluffy, tender and slightly crunchy on the sides, and is already very tasty on its own. There are many different toppings available and the products used here are, again, superb. The pizza was so good, so that we couldn’t help ourselves and had to take one home for the next day. The chef, Antonino, is a great host and certainly knows what he’s doing. On top of that, the service staff is very friendly, thoughtful and quick. We visited with our baby and our dog which was no problem at all - moreover, we felt very welcome. We'll definitely come back the next time we’re...
Read moreReally awesome pizza, quick and delicious!! Maybe even the best we’ve eaten in Südtirol, the dough is premium. Prices are totally fine, so absolutely worth going!
Restaurant’s focus is on pizza, we also ordered a salad which was ok but nothing special and a bit too expensive for what we got. Also, the vegetarian options are good but limited compared to the meaty ones.
Moreover, the service could have been better: Our order got mixed up twice (drinks and food), and we didn’t get glasses with our bottle of water. Waitress wasn’t very chatty/friendly either. Overall this can happen, but a great service would have handled the double mix-up differently (e.g. espresso on the house or at least a...
