Line — Restaurant in Ercolano

Line is the restaurant on the grounds of the Il San Cristofo hotel. At the time of this review, the location is incorrectly labeled: it is all the way at the back of the property in an attractive, modern glass box-looking space.

The food expresses the palette of an opinionated chef: flavors were deeply consistent, fresh, mild, and thoughtful throughout. It is clear that Chef Antonio Tecchia prefers to let the natural qualities of the ingredients lead, as opposed to intense seasoning or spices. And it works very well.

Incredible restaurant which forms part of the Il San Cristoforo hotel and resort. We were fortunate enough to eat here twice during our stay at the hotel and each time was simply stunning. The quality of the food is top notch and the service exemplary. The only downside is it's proximity to the hotel where noise from hosted weddings can be a distraction. Putting that aside this is a proper foodie's dream. We didnt get around to the taster menu but the meals we had were phenomenal - from the roasted lettuce with coffee, to the saffron risotto - all interspersed with in-between courses of equal quality. Solitamente non recensisco un ristorante la prima volta che vado, anche se mangio in un modo eccelso. Sono stato al Line del S. Cristoforo per la terza volta, a cena, la differenza dalla prima alla terza è stato sempre più un piacere. Piatti sempre diversi, tutti eccellenti, lo chef Tecchia è una vera e propria garanzia. un servizio impeccabile, un ottima lista vini e le bollicine ad una temperatura ottima, cosa banale ma non semplice da trovare. Il giorno seguente ho avuto il piacere di trascorrere delle ore in piscina. Una vera e propria comfort zone, immersa nel verde, tranquillità assoluta e coccolati da Gennaro ed Erik, due grandi professionisti del mestiere e di conseguenza mi hanno stupito, tra le tante cose offerte, con un favoloso LemonSpritz.
