I had never been to Abruzzo nor the Gran Sasso national park and I thought this was a great starting point for a 2 day stay in the area. The room I was given was brand new (there are 5 rooms and they all are new) with my own private terrace. I was the only guest there during my 2 days, so I was lucky! Felt like I had the place to myself.||||Breakfast was included and served in the dining room. It was extensive. Breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, fruits, need I go on? You can also reserve lunch and diner there. I had both a lunch and a dinner there and it was stupendous. The pasta to die for and the eggplant parmigiana, creative and delicious. I also ordered the Peposo, which is a Tuscan red meat dish made with wine and pepper. Looking now to recreate that recipe! ||||Thomas and Marco were helpful in showing me where to visit in the area, with detailed instructions. I would return there...

DELIZIOSE. Tutti piatti e dolci fatti in casa.
