At this restaurant, you should get a reservation as it doesn't just pack people in. If you want fast food, stick to a street vendor or a less than palatable establishment. They take pride in giving a great experience, with personal service, food catered to you if you have any special requests or preferences. There was a vegan, and they tweaked some of the meals to fit her needs.

The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly, seared just right, fat was delicious, and cut into slices for me. I really enjoyed they let it rest, and it wasn't a puddle on my plate. Don't be afraid to pick up the bone and eat right off it. Pan-fried potatoes were crisp yet fluffy as I bit through. The chikery and fava beans were terrific. I even tried some on my steak, and it was a great combination.

Lastly, for dessert, the tiramisu was constructed just right. Was creamy with the right thickness the entire way through.

Price compared to what you'd eat in America for such dedication would have been much more.

The entire staff was engaging and made you feel right at home even if you're half way around the world.

Food: The cheese and charcuterie platter was absolutely delicious and impressively generous in portion. The truffle pasta was a true explosion of flavor – an unforgettable dish I could happily return for every single day. The dessert was a delightful surprise: refreshing, creative, and the perfect ending to the meal.

Wine: An extensive and well-curated wine list with clear explanations and thoughtful recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful rosé that perfectly complemented our meal.

Service: Exceptionally friendly and warmly welcoming, with impeccable knowledge of restaurant etiquette. It was a joy to watch the hostess greet guests with such genuine enthusiasm – her passion for hospitality truly shines.

The restaurant tries to be somewhat classy, but it just does work out. We were waiting for 45 minutes for the order (meat, octopus, risotto, French fries, salad - nothing really that slow)! We were two families with children, which were hungry and tired and still even the fastest meals did not come fast. There were even other kids and people in the restaurant sleeping on the tables, waiting for their orders. I asked why they needed 45-50 minutes to execute the order even though they had four cooks in the kitchen and I was told that they are busy. This is cannot be an excuse - I think they lack preparation and organization for the menu they are offering.

The veal came rare. Even when we returned it to be cooked more, it came rare again.

Altogether the food was just about average - an unsuccessful attempt for something special. I would not recommend...
