The setting is really nice, but I think a bit of soft background music would have made it even better. The food was ok, the usual stuff that 90% of the restaurants in the area serve, done properly. The service was polite but felt disorganized. They got our order wrong and we received the side dishes 20 minutes after the main course, spoiling the meal. They had a couple of very big tables, but this does not justify the disservice. We really liked the starters, but usually at that price there is more option (no seafood included for example). OH MY WOW! Everything about this place is amazing! The food was absolutely incredible. We started with the 8 course appetiser and everything was so flavourful. The portion sizes were perfect and it wasn’t too much food before our mains. The dishes we got in the appetiser were, a small antipasti board, bread with ricotta, stracciatella cheese, crostini with rapa, baccalà, eggplant parmigiana, fava bean puree with chicory and polpette. Un finale pessimo e vergognoso! Su suggerimento di un amico del settore ordino un tavolo per 4 in questo locale poiché il mio riferimento ad Ostuni era chiuso. Location alternativa e raffinata, titolari molto gentili come anche i camerieri, ambienti di varia tipologia tutti ben curati. Un piccolo disguido sulla comanda, anziché 4 primi ne giungono due ed in ritardo rispetto al tavolo vicino al nostro; problema poco dopo in parte recuperato dal titolare molto attento. Cibo di qualità, buoni i primi come la carne d’Asino e l’arrosto misto, non il solito. Buono anche il vino proposto. Una piccola pecca però: pago un conto “salato” ma andiamo subito via poiché in compagnia dei due ospiti. Solo in serata al rientro a casa, nel guardare per caso lo scontrino riscontro delle grosse anomalie, circa 50 euro in più per alimenti mai ordinati ne ricevuti ne tantomeno mangiati. In buona sostanza probabilmente sulla comanda il giovane e inesperto cameriere aveva inserito più portate della stessa pietanza, diciamo che è andata così. Non mi scende, salvato il nr del cell messaggio con il titolare il quale dopo un lungo chiarimento per iscritto naturalmente solo alla fine ravvede l’errore, mi invita a ritornare come ospite per “recuperare”; sa bene che per tornarci devo fare 130 km.
